Following on from the trend of popular and fully subscribed events that the Wellington Analytics Forum has held so far for 2015, we are pleased to announce a switch to Government Analytics for our next event, which is being held on Tuesday 1st September 2015. Our confirmed speakers to date and their topics are:

• New Zealand Police: Transforming the traditional Business Intelligence operating model by inserting the role of data scientist
• Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment: Leveraging open source tools, the latest interactive data visualisation methods, and reproducible research approaches to scale up analytical production and uptake
• Statistics New Zealand: Current state of the Data Future Forum work on establishing NZ’s data “Eco-System”
• Ministry of Justice: Building Data to support operational decision-making in courts and the wider justice sector ….. our journey over last 18 + months
• Ministry of Social Development: Using analytics for better client outcomes

Senior Government Analyst and Leader, James Mansell, will provide an opening keynote for the event.
