The New Zealand Analytics Forum is pleased to announce our last Wellington-based event for 2015.

This is the event where we can say to everyone “Congratulations! You’ve made it through another year in Analytics!” and having heard a lot about the great things happening in the industry, we start to think about the fascinating topic of “What does the future look like from here?”

You can register below for this event now.

Key Details

Topic:      Analytics 2016 and Beyond

Date:       Tuesday 8th December 2015: 4:30pm to 6:30pm (presentations start 5:00pm)

Venue:    Trade Me Wellington. Level 5, 2 Market Lane, Wellington Central

Food and refreshments will be provided. There is no fee for attending this event.

We have three speakers lined up for the session, representing public and private sector, and the potential future of Analytics and data for New Zealand. They are;

  • Ben Copsey, Digital Transformation Lead at Optimation. Ben is currently working on a significant digital transformation programme of work, focusing on enhancing organisation performance through an understanding of technology, people and process enabled by clearly articulated strategy, metrics and goals.
  • James Mansell, Business Owner at Noos. Formerly the Director of innovation and Strategic design at the Ministry of Social Development, James now consults providing thought leadership and championing the safe use of Data Science to deliver public and economic value.
  • Data Futures Forum (speaker to be confirmed). This year the Government has announced a new chapter in the work of the Data futures Forum. The speaker will talk to this chapter, and what it means for analytics and data in New Zealand for 2016.

Our sponsor for this next event is the SAS Users New Zealand (SUNZ) organisation. SUNZ is a non-profit society formed to facilitate networking and knowledge-sharing among analytics professionals in New Zealand. Although primarily comprised of SAS users, the SUNZ community is for anyone interested in driving results with analytics. The 35th annual SUNZ National Conference will be held in Wellington on 9 February 2016. Rohan Light, SUNZ Chairman, will provide our opening address.

With our events regularly attracting just on 100 people, registrations will be accepted on a ‘first come first served” basis. Given the timing, the venue and the speakers, we are expecting another huge number of people interested. Please register now to ensure that we have a place for you. There is no fee for this event.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
