Analytics for Healthcare in Canterbury

The New Zealand Analytics Forum is excited to bring the forum to Christchurch for the first time. We will be running our first ever Christchurch event on Tuesday 24 November in conjunction with the 2015 joint NZSA/ORSNZ conference.

We thank Hewlett Packard for their generous sponsorship of this event.

The NZ Analytics Forum is a community of professionals committed to adding value to this country by improving the use of analytics for decision making.

Our plenary speaker will be Ian McCrae, founder and CEO of Orion Health. Orion Health is a great New Zealand analytics success story.  Orion Health is a leading global provider of Health Information Exchange and healthcare integration solutions. Founded in 1993, their products and solutions are implemented in more than 30 countries, used by hundreds of thousands of clinicians, and helps to facilitate care for tens of millions of patients.

Following Ian’s talk, we will have a panel discussion on the role that analytics is playing for healthcare in Canterbury. Our three panelists (Carolyn Gullery, Tim David, and Pete Simpson) bring diverse perspectives and a wealth of experience in healthcare analytics. As a community, we will discuss different approaches – both to help out our colleagues and learn what we can from one another.

Attendance is free, thanks to our generous sponsors and hosts.  A bus will be provided between the conference venue and this event for those who are also attending the conference, but the event is also open (and free) for others. Plenty of parking is available on site.

Numbers are limited, so please register early if you would like to attend.
