Event Theme: Managing Analytics Teams

The spring Wellington Analytics Forum event is sponsored by Optimation and held at the Mac’s Function Centre.

Managing people is hugely rewarding, but often quite challenging.  Managing analytics teams will have some unique challenges – analysts by nature are highly data literate and analytical – but, beyond that, they’re as diverse as any other team in a business.

This Analytics NZ event is focused around discovering how to get the best out of our analytics teams.  We’ll hear from three speakers who not only have years of experience in managing analysts, but also have a genuine passion for doing this well.  We’ll also get a first look at the results of our survey, to see if we can uncover the world of the analytics professional….

Speakers:

Andrew Kerr, Meridian Energy

Andrew Rae, ACC

Finlay Thompson, Dragonfly Science

Rough Agenda:

2.15      Welcome, Agenda and Speaker Introduction

3.30      Afternoon tea break and your chance to network

4.00-5.00    Session continues – Plus the opportunity to ask any burning questions

Followed by networking drinks from 5pm

There is no charge but a limited number of spaces available, so sign up today to join us in either Wellington or Auckland.
